Hex Bloom
Hex Bloom is a minimalist puzzle game about transplanting plants on a hexagonal grid — made for Jame Gam 61, with the theme botany and the special item shovel.
In real nurseries, plants are transplanted to develop their root systems and to help them grow. Hex Bloom takes that idea literally: to move a plant to its next stage, you have to transplant it. And you need a shovel for this :)
Plants grow on a hex grid, and each one has its own needs. Your job is to grow them, fulfill orders, and keep your shovels from running out. Orders earn you shovels, and shovels pay for transplanting and moving tools. New tools open up new approaches to the field. And somewhere in all of this, a secret plant may be waiting — will you manage to grow it?
But every shovel you spend brings you closer to the end — because when the shovels run out, the game is over.
The top rating shown in the game is simulated.
